PROJECT- CAR JACK


Hello guys! today we are making a science project through which we understand how heavy cars can be lifted through jacks. Which liquid  is used by them to lift cars. what is the process and mechanism of car jack. so lets start now.
PROJECT-CAR JACK
Objective:-To understand the concept of car jacks
Material used:- 


  1. Cardboard sheet
  2. 2 Syring
  3. 1 Platic pipe 0.5metre
  4. Double sided tape
  5. 1 Small toy car
  6. Water
  7. Tape
  8. Scissor

HOW TO MAKE A WORKING MODEL?
  •  Take a syring fill up water then attach plastic pipe in the syring after that press planger so that water goes through the pipe and air can be released from them refill water on the syring fully through plastic pipe .
  • Attach another empty syring with the plastic pipe now we have a pair of syring.
  • Take a square shaped cardboard and with the help of scissor mark three straight lines in the cardboard sheet paste a syring on the centre of  cardboard and convert into a box and paste tape on it.
  • Take a another piece of cardboard sheet and paste it upon the cardboard box with the help of tape.
  • Make a hole in the square shaped cardboard so the planger moves to upward and downward
  • Paste a double sided tape on planger and fix small toy car on it.

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNT
Car jack used heavy pressurized liquid for lifting cars named as hydraulic. Hydraulic is made up of two words hydro+ aulic.
hydro means "water" whereas aulic means "mechanism"
In this project we use water as a hydraulic in place of high density pressurized oil used in car jacks
